ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
University of Idaho College of Art and Architecture
The Annual High School Art Exhibition hosted by the Art + Design program thematically connects the artwork of High School students from across the State of Idaho. We celebrate thinkers and makers of all ages and know that creative expression and reflection are important skills for a student's trajectory into higher education and beyond. Our programs are structured for students to develop the creative and professional skills needed for today's global art community.
Exhibit Theme – I'm Listening
We learned a lot in 2020, especially about the importance of truly listening. This past year has been filled with global events effecting each and every one of us, and we know from history that art reflects society. With this in mind, the theme “I’m Listening” is an avenue for Idaho high school students to reflect on the sounds and voices that have been catching their attention. We welcome perspectives from across the state.

During Summer Design Days, students explore a wide range of art and design disciplines through hands-on projects and informal lectures. This is a great opportunity to experience studio life on the U of I campus, get to know faculty, explore Moscow and learn more about our programs.
